Warehouse fire causes about $1 million of damage

A warehouse fire in the south valley caused an estimated $1 million in damage early Sunday morning, Clark County officials said.
The blaze occurred about 1 a.m. at the Universal Watch Co. at 5016 Schuster St., near Tropicana Avenue and Valley View Boulevard.
The roof of the warehouse portion of the building collapsed.
It took county and Las Vegas firefighters about 30 minutes to get the flames under control. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
