West valley hit and run injures 2 people

A man and woman, both in their 80s, were hospitalized after they were struck by a car in a Tuesday evening hit-and-run crash, according to Las Vegas police.

Officers responded at 4:17 p.m. to the intersection of Decatur Boulevard and Evergreen Avenue, south of Alta Drive, where a man and woman, who police said were both 86 years old, had been hit in a crosswalk, according to Metro Lt. Mark Reddon.

The pair were taken to University Medical Center in stable condition, Reddon said.

Police are looking for a black four-door sedan, possibly a Ford, Reddon said.
