Woman accused of murder, firing gun from car on I-15

Las Vegas police have arrested a woman in connection with a Valentine’s Day shooting death and a separate fit of road rage in which at least one shot was fired from a moving vehicle on Interstate 15.

Christina Sanchez-Perez, 33, faces one count each of first degree murder, robbery with a deadly weapon and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle, Metro said Wednesday in a news release.

Rodolfo Solis-Gonzalez , 46, was found shot to death about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in a bedroom at a house in the 3900 block of Saguaro Lane, near where U.S. Highway 95 crosses Stewart Avenue.

Metro homicide investigators said Solis-Gonzalez’s grey 2012 Nissan Sentra was missing from the home.

On Tuesday, North Las Vegas police found the Sentra parked in a driveway at residence in the 3300 block of Thomas Avenue, the news release said. They saw Sanchez-Perez getting into the vehicle.

Police also said Sanchez-Perez shot at another motorist Monday while driving the Sentra north on I-15 in North Las Vegas. The driver who was shot at called police and followed the Sentra off the freeway toward the intersection of Pecos Road and Lake Mead Boulevard.

By the time officers arrived, the Sentra was gone, Metro said.
