Woman found dead in central valley home
Police are investigating whether a 68-year-old woman found dead at her central valley home Friday afternoon was slain .
The woman was found about
3:30 p.m. on the 3500 block of Casa Grande Avenue, near Oakey and Valley View boulevards, after neighbors called police saying they hadn't seen her in a day, Las Vegas police said.
Officers arrived and thought her death was suspicious, although there were no apparent signs of trauma to her body.
Homicide detectives are investigating. Robbery might have been a motive if a slaying occurred , Lt. Lew Roberts said.
Detectives think the woman might have been dead for up to two days. Her name was not released.
