Woman killed in collision identified

A woman killed in a vehicle collision on East Bonanza Road earlier this month was identified Monday by the Clark County coroner's office as Patricia Montano-Corripio, 57, of Las Vegas.

Las Vegas police said the collision occurred about 7 a.m. July 7 on Bonanza, east of Pecos Road.

Police said witness statements indicated that a 2000 Mazda Protege exited the driveway of a Food 4 Less and turned left onto Bonanza. The Mazda entered the middle lane, where it was struck on the left side by a 2007 Ford Econoline van.

Montano-Corripio died at University Medical Center.

The driver and occupants of the Ford suffered minor injuries.
