Woman sought in robbery of 85-year-old man

North Las Vegas police are trying to identify a woman they said robbed an 85-year-old man near the intersection of Aliante Parkway and the 215 Beltway after asking him for a ride last week.

Officers were called about the robbery at 11 p.m. on Oct. 26.

The man told officers the woman asked him for a ride at a nearby casino, police said Tuesday in a news release. Once they reached her destination, near Aliante and Nature Park Way, she put an "unknown object" to his throat and took his money, police said. The man wasn't injured.

Detectives are also looking for a second woman captured with the accused robber on casino cameras, police said.

The women were both described by police as about 30 years old. The accused robber stands about 5 feet 8 inches and weighs about 240 pounds, police said. She wore a black jacket, a blue dress and black knee-high boots. She had black hair and carried a white purse.

The second woman stands about 5 feet 6 inches and weighs about 200 pounds, police said. She wore a white shirt, a blue and white skirt and sandals. She also carried a purse.
