$2,500 reward offered in fatal Reno stabbing
RENO — The Secret Witness organization is offering a $2,500 reward for information about the fatal stabbing of a 48-year-old man on a Reno street.
Police said the incident happened a little before 8 p.m. Tuesday near Vassar Street and Kirman Avenue.
Investigators said four boys on foot came across the man and started yelling from across the street. Police said they crossed over toward him and began fighting with him before one of the boys stabbed him.
Authorities said the assailants fled.
The man was transported to Renown Regional Medical Center, where he died of his injury shortly after. His name has not yet been made public.
