Coroner IDs motorcyclist killed in crash near Searchlight

The Clark County coroner's office on Monday identified a man who died in a three-motorcycle crash Sunday afternoon near Searchlight.

Nevada Highway Patrol was called just after 4 p.m. to the collision on U.S. Highway 95, near mile marker 30, the agency said.

One of the motorcyclists, 38-year-old Shamon Tavar Hudson, of Las Vegas, was flown to University Medical Center. He died there about three hours later, the coroner's office said.

Another motorcyclist was injured in the crash, which briefly closed both directions of traffic on the freeway. Additional details on that motorcyclist's condition were not immediately available Monday.
