Nevada prisons caseworker arrested in drug charges

A Nevada Department of Corrections employee was arrested Friday on federal charges of methamphetamine possession and intent to distribute, the department announced Wednesday morning.

Christina Tripp, a former correctional caseworker specialist, was terminated after the arrest, according to a department release.

The Henderson Police Department and FBI assisted in the investigation that led to Tripp's arrest.
