Woman fatally injured in Laughlin boat crash ID’d

KINGMAN, Ariz — The Clark County coroner's office has identified the Arizona woman who was fatally injured when the boat she was operating struck a water taxi tied to the dock of a Laughlin Casino.

The office, however, has not yet determined the official cause of the death of 53-year-old Brenda Joy Devine-Pfeffer of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Nevada Department of Wildlife public information officer Douglas Nielsen said the collision at the dock of the Riverside Hotel and Casino occurred about 4 p.m. Monday. He said no one else was involved or injured in the accident that remains under investigation.
