Woman’s decomposing body found in Kingman

The decomposing remains of a woman have been found in Kingman, Ariz.

Kingman police said a man walking his dog made the discovery in a hilly, desert area south of Radar Hill on Sunday morning.

Deputy Police Chief Rusty Cooper said the case is being treated as a homicide which he said is standard protocol in unattended death investigations.

He said the subject believed to have been dead about a week before the discovery was about 5 feet tall with brown hair and distinctive tattoos on her left wrist and right calf.

The Police Department is asking for help in identifying the deceased by calling 928-753-2191 or 928-753-1234.
