Helldorado parade, rodeo links Las Vegas to its past

Las Vegas plans to celebrate its western heritage this week during the annual Helldorado festival. Proceeds from Helldorado will be donated to several local charities.

Elvis Costello and The Imposters are slated to perform at 8 p.m. Friday at the Pearl at the Palms. Known for his eclectic genre-crossing, Costello has been performing and producing music since 1977. Tickets range from $61 to $96. For more information, call 942-6888.
