Bringing in spring this weekend with warm, sunny days in Las Vegas Valley

The Las Vegas Valley has been in spring mode this week and should see similar weather over the weekend, National Weather Service meteorologist Justin Pullin said.

Friday saw a high temperature of 81 degrees, according to the weather service.

The weekend should be sunny with a few clouds filtering in overnight, according to the weather service.

“Rain is not very likely,” Pullin said. “We should be dry and quiet.”

A high of 82 is expected Saturday, while Sunday will see a high of 85, National Weather Service meteorologist John Adair said.

The current temperatures — about 10 degrees above normal — should give way to cooler temperatures at the beginning of next week, which will likely see higher wind speeds as well, Adair said.
