The Las Vegas Valley will have low but steady chances of showers during the upcoming days, according to the National Weather Service.
Saturday was dry with a high of 61 degrees, the weather service said.
A weather system sliding down from the West Coast will bring increasing clouds and a 20 percent chance for rain Sunday afternoon and Sunday night, meteorologist John Adair said. Sunday will see a high of 59.
Those rain chances are expected to stay at 20 percent until Wednesday, when the chance for showers drops to 10 percent, meteorologist Chris Outler said.
“It’s definitely been wetter than normal,” he said.
The Mount Charleston area should also see showers on Sunday, and could have up to an inch of snow in higher elevations, Outler said.
Monday also will be partly cloudy with a high of 63, followed by a high of 65 on Tuesday, 59 on Wednesday and 61 on Thursday.
Overnight lows through Wednesday will be in the 40s, the weather service said.
