Las Vegas Valley could see winds, rain later in week

The Las Vegas Valley should expect sunny skies and warm weather until a chance for rain and strong winds move in just before the weekend.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 81 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. Winds are expected to move into the valley Thursday, but the high will still be near 78 degrees.
Friday will be cooler with a high of 70 degrees, 20 to 30 mph winds with gusts near 40 mph, and a 20 percent chance of rain as a storm system passes through the valley.
The weekend will warm up, with highs in the 70s and 80s and light winds.
