Rain and clouds will greet Las Vegas Valley residents on Thursday
The National Weather Service expects rain and cloudy skies for most of Thursday in the Las Vegas Valley.
High temperatures Thursday should reach 55 degrees. A 60 percent chance of rain will linger until Friday morning, when the weather service expects leftover scattered showers at 30 percent. Cloudy skies Thursday will be paired with 10-to-15 mph winds.
Temperatures for the rest of the week will remain in the mid- to high 50s, with Friday reaching 53 degrees; Saturday, 58 degrees and Sunday, 56 degrees.
By Saturday, the valley should return to dry weather and mostly sunny skies, meteorologist Andy Gorelow said.
