Rain is gone, warm weather moving into Las Vegas Valley

Following a weekend of rain, a week of warm weather is in store for Las Vegas.

Monday’s high was 87 degrees, Tuesday’s is expected to be 86 and Wednesday’s is expected to be 88, the National Weather Service said.

Thursday is when temperatures are expected to rise into the 90s, with a high of 93 expected Thursday and 99 Friday, National Weather Service meteorologist Mike Paddock said.

The weekend highs are also expected to be in the mid-90s, the weather service said.

No rain is forecast in the coming week and clouds are not expected, Paddock said. Winds are expected to be less than 10 mph and light.

If forecast highs are correct, the end of this week should see the year’s hottest day so far, meteorologist Justin Pullin said.
