Thunderstorms remain in this week’s forecast, but the weekend will be dry, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday saw a high of 103 degrees and a low of 86 degrees, according to the weather service.
Aside from thunderstorm-related winds, which typically gust near 35 mph, light winds ranging from 10 to 15 mph will sweep the valley until the weekend, meteorologist Caleb Steele said.
Chances for thunderstorms on Wednesday and Thursday are at 20 percent, Steele said. Wednesday’s high is forecast at 101 degrees. Thursday’s high should be slightly cooler at 99 degrees.
Dry conditions are expected Friday through Sunday, he said. Friday will likely see a high of 103 degrees.
Temperatures climb slightly with a 104 degree-high for both Saturday and Sunday, according to the weather service.
