Triple-digit weather rolling back into Vegas Valley

Prepare for triple-digit temperatures again, Las Vegas.

Saturday’s pleasant, partly cloudy conditions will give way to 100-degree highs by the start of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday’s high temperatures reached 90 degrees, which is about 6 degrees below normal, meteorologist, Barry Pierce said. It was expected to drop down to about 70 degrees overnight.

The valley should be drier and warmer moving into Sunday, with highs reaching the mid-90s, meteorologist Caleb Steele said. Nighttime lows should drop to the low 70s again.

Sunny, bright skies are forecast for Monday and Tuesday, with high temperatures climbing to the 100-degrees range, Steele said. Nighttime lows should be in the mid- and upper 70s, respectively.

Normal highs for this time of year are in the mid-90s, Pierce said.
