Temperatures are expected to drop this week with chances of thunderstorms.

Wednesday was mostly sunny with a high of 94 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

High temperatures Thursday should hit 87 degrees, with scattered showers and thunderstorms expected after 11 a.m., said meteorologist Mike Paddock. Chances for precipitation are forecast about 30 percent.

The rest of the week should be cool and unsettled with highs dropping from mid-80s to mid-70s over the weekend, the weather service said.
