Warm on Tuesday, but weather change coming for Las Vegas Valley

High temperatures in the Las Vegas Valley will drop about 20 degrees between Tuesday and Thursday, the National Weather Service forecast.

Tuesday had mostly sunny skies and a high of 75 degrees, Meteorologist John Salmen said.

Changes are expected for Wednesday. The high is forecast for 76 degrees and a wind advisory will be in effect from 10 a.m. Wednesday to 1 p.m. Thursday with winds between 20 to 35 miles per hour and gusts between 40 to 50 mph, Salmen said. The winds could cause dustiness in the valley.

Thursday will see temperatures closer to what they should be for November with a high of 60 degrees, Salmen said. Skies will be sunny and winds will lighten up.

Friday and Saturday will have forecast highs near 62 and 67 degrees, respectively.

No rain is expected the rest of the week.
