Evan Walling fired a five-inning perfect game on Friday as the Southern Nevada Bengals earned a 13-0 win over the Nevada A’s in pool play of the Connie Mack state tournament at Bonanza.

Cristian Herrera was 3-for-3 with a double, a home run and two RBIs on Thursday to lead the Sunrise Region to an 11-5 victory over the Sunset in the Class 4A Senior All-Star Game at Faith Lutheran.
Bryce Robison allowed two runs on five hits in 6 2/3 innings to lead Palo Verde to a 5-2 win over host Reno in the Class 4A state baseball tournament.
Nick Zuppas pitched 4⅔ shutout innings, and the Panthers claimed a 1-0 win over host Bishop Manogue in the Class 4A state baseball tournament.
Jaret Godman picked up a pair of victories on Saturday, as the Panthers defeated Centennial 15-0 and 1-0 at Shadow Ridge to claim the Sunset title and earn a berth at state.
