ROUNDUP: Ford sacrifices to help Silverado edge Coronado

A.J. Ford’s sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh inning plated Drew Robinson for the go-ahead run Friday and lifted Silverado’s baseball team to an 8-7 win at Coronado.
Mike Meyers went 2-for-4 with a triple, a double, two RBIs and two runs scored for Silverado. Teammate Morgan Stotts was 2-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs.
Taylor Giordano hit 2-for-4 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs to lead Coronado. Miles Bice was 2-for-4 and scored two runs for the Cougars, who drove in four runs in the fifth and three in the sixth to tie the game, 7-7.
Bonanza 8, Desert Oasis 7 — At Desert Oasis, Anthony Risucci singled down the first-base line to drive in the go-ahead run in the top of the eighth inning to give the Bengals the win.
Kris Bryant went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs to help Bonanza, which collected 13 hits.
The Diamondbacks, who also had 13 hits, had the potential tying run thrown out at the plate in the bottom of the eighth.
Foothill 6, Liberty 5 — At Foothill, Kyle Moyes’ two-out single up the middle plated pinch-runner Dakota Wadkins with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Falcons edged the Patriots.
Foothill took a 5-2 lead into the sixth, but Liberty scored a run in the same inning and two on Marcos Rivera’s single in the top of the seventh to tie the game. Foothill shortstop Kris Soto ended the threat with a running catch in center field.
Moyes finished 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for the Falcons.
Rivera was 3-for-4, and Manuel Menocal homered for the Patriots.
Legacy 13, Palo Verde 5 — At Palo Verde, Pierce Skinner went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs and three RBIs as the Longhorns rallied from a 4-2 third-inning deficit to beat the Panthers.
Tyler Thurston was 2-for-3 with a home run, a double, two runs and three RBIs for Legacy, and teammate Zach Monticelli hit 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI.
Dan Jaffe went 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple and an RBI, and Billy Bob Ward also homered for Palo Verde.
Pahrump Valley 5, Western 1 — At Pahrump, Sam Morrow was 2-for-4 and tossed a seven-hitter, and the Trojans used a five-run sixth inning to rally past the Warriors.
Alex Davidson also went 2-for-4 for Pahrump.
Shadow Ridge 13, Mojave 3 — At Mojave, Brandon Show went 4-for-4 with four RBIs to send the Mustangs past the Rattlers.
Bruce Butler was 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI, and Damian Jackson hit 2-for-2 with three RBIs for Shadow Ridge.
Andrew Gradwell was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Mojave.
Centennial 13, Cheyenne 0 — At Centennial, Willie White and Loral Monson each went 3-for-3 to lead the Bulldogs to the five-inning shutout.
White had two runs and two RBIs, and Monson doubled twice and added a run and an RBI.
Bryan Bonnell and Cody Clark combined on a four-hitter for Centennial.
Green Valley 13, Tech 2 — At Tech, Bryan Simpkins went 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs to help the Gators cruise past the Roadrunners in five innings.
 
Rudy Strnad was 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs, and Zach Vergiels went 2-for-4 with two runs for Green Valley.
Nolan Kohorst allowed one hit in four shutout-innings with eight strikeouts to get the win.
Durango 15, Clark 5 — At Durango, Ricky Gonzalez went 3-for-4 with a double, a triple and five RBIs to lead the Trailblazers past the Chargers in five innings.
Gonzalez also went the distance on the mound to earn the victory.
Cameron Coombs added to Durango’s 15-hit attack by going 3-for-4 with a double and four RBIs.
Basic 13, Del Sol 3 — At Basic, Cody Clark went 3-for-3 with a double, and the Wolves scored early and often en route to a five-inning win over the Dragons.
Spring Valley 15, Northridge (Colo.) 11 — At Spring Valley, Aaron Blair was 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, two runs and two RBIs to lead the Grizzlies to the win.
Glenn Smith went 2-for-4 with two runs and three RBIs, Drew LaComb was 2-for-4 with a run and two RBIs, and Josh Shuster was 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs for Spring Valley.
Boulder City 11-10, Moapa Valley 9-4 — At Boulder City, Jack LaMarca had two doubles in the first game and homered in the nightcap to help the Eagles sweep the Pirates.
Kyle Dimpel was 3-for-3 with a solo homer and three runs in the first game, and teammate Colton Schultz added two hits.
Matt Vallet was 2-for-5 with a solo homer for Moapa Valley in the opener.
In the second game, Ross LaMarca was 2-for-4 with a grand slam, and Jack LaMarca was 2-for-4 with a solo home run for Boulder City.
Virgin Valley 11, Dixie (Utah) 5 — At St. George, Utah, Victor Ruvalcaba went 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs as the Bulldogs downed the Flyers.
Brandt Eaton and Zach Horlacher each added a pair of singles for Virgin Valley.
Tonopah 14-17, Spring Mountain 0-0 — At Tonopah, Cody Serfoss and Emitt Davis each threw a no-hitter as the Muckers swept the Eagles in a pair of five-inning shutouts.
Serfoss fanned 12 in the opener, and Davis followed by striking out 13 in the nightcap.
Davis finished 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBIs in the doubleheader. Reese Jones also went 2-for-5 with five RBIs for the Muckers.
Taylor McLaughlin was 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Tonopah, and Serfoss finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs.
Trinity 20-14, Sandy Valley 7-13 — At Sandy Valley Community Park, Gage Neuwohner went a combined 4-for-8 with a home run, a triple and six RBIs and pitched both games to help the Thunder sweep the Sidewinders.
Trinity’s Damen Cook was 4-for-6 with four RBIs in the two games.
Reny Celero’s two-run single with two outs in the top of the sixth inning gave the Thunder the lead for good in the nightcap, completing a rally from a 12-4 deficit through four innings.
Daniel Soto doubled in each game for Sandy Valley, and was 2-for-3 in the second game.
Lincoln County 21-15, Mountain View 3-0 — At Panaca, Jason Wheatley went 3-for-5 with two triples and four RBIs in the opener, and Ryan Lloyd was 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs in the nightcap to help the Lynx sweep the Saints.
 
Brandon Wright hit 2-for-4 with two triples in the first game for Lincoln County.
The Meadows 26-20, Agassi Prep 1-0 — At The Meadows, Brian Fahey and Austin Brown homered in the nightcap to highlight the Mustangs’ romping sweep of the Stars.
Needles 16-12, West Wendover 2-1 — At West Wendover, Nathan Hetrick homered in the first game and Bobby Stahel went 3-for-3 with a triple in the nightcap to highlight a sweep for the Mustangs.
