Outlook: The Spartans have five players back with varsity experience, led by the 6-foot-5-inch Willinsky, who averaged 6.6 points and 5.2 rebounds.
Newcomers Hardaway, who moved in from Illinois, and Matt Norman, who came in from California, should add increased depth.
Fretz said the Spartans will look to use their quickness to their advantage as they try to return to the playoffs. But graduatedf first team all-state forward Erik Brewer (21.9 points, 7.1 rebounds) will be difficult to replace.
