ROUNDUP: Louder seals game as Cougar boys knock off Skyhawks

Michael Louder banked in a short basket with four seconds left to finish with 17 points and give Coronado’s boys basketball team a dramatic 61-60 home win over Silverado on Thursday night.
Louder’s shot gave Coronado (6-6, 4-1 Southeast) a 61-59 lead, and the Cougars held on to hand Silverado (13-3, 5-1) its first league loss.
Dominique Muhammad scored 11 points for Coronado, and Teyshawn Campbell added nine points.
Lamar Walker had 10 blocked shots for Coronado, which rallied from a 23-13 deficit after the first quarter.
David Ware led Silverado with 17 points.
Ruben Jackson had 13 points and Justin Johnson added 11 points for the Skyhawks.
Las Vegas 60, Desert Pines 57 — At Las Vegas High, Hasaan Henderson scored 21 points, and the Wildcats stormed back from a 48-42 deficit after three quarters to edge the Jaguars.
Phil Dunigan scored all 14 of his points in the second half for Las Vegas, which led 60-55 in the closing seconds before Desert Pines scored and called a timeout with 0.8 seconds left.
The Wildcats threw the ball out of bounds on the ensuing inbound play, giving Desert Pines the ball under its own basket. The Jaguars got the ball to Julian Jacobs for a 3-point attempt that missed at the buzzer.
Traven Yancey added 12 points for Las Vegas.
Jacobs had 15 of his 22 points in the first half for Desert Pines, and teammate Thomas Hooper tallied 14 of his 22 points in the first half.
Valley 75, Canyon Springs 62 — At Valley, Caleb Carter had 21 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Vikings past the Pioneers.
Keanu Peters had 18 points and Chris Swanson scored 10 for Valley, which led 43-28 at halftime.
Nick Scott paced Canyon Springs with 16 points, and Shaquille Carr added 13 points.
Foothill 78, Liberty 64 — At Foothill, Greg Cox had 15 points, and the Falcons got scoring from 14 players en route to a win over the Patriots.
Brannon Cresanto had 14 points and five assists, and Tyler Morris tallied 12 points for Foothill.
Jeremy Lontayo paced Liberty with 18 points, and teammate Elijah Graves added 17 points.
Basic 55, Del Sol 47 — At Basic, Jalen Rose scored 13 points as the Wolves rallied past the Dragons.
Devonte Boyd supplied 12 points and 11 rebounds for Basic, which outscored Del Sol 20-7 in the fourth quarter. Isaiah Villaros contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds for the Wolves.
Max Prescott paced Del Sol with 16 points.
Chaparral 68, Rancho 59 — At Chaparral, Jared Celestine scored 18 points to lead the Cowboys by the Rams.
Tyree McNeal had 14 points and Kamron Alexander scored 12 for Chaparral.
Isaiah Timpson had 14 points for Rancho, and Chris Beverly scored 13.
Eldorado 69, Sunrise Mountain 41 — At Eldorado, Markeith Floyd scored 21 points, and Jayveon Brown added 18 points to help the Sundevils cruise by the Miners.
Rodney Williams and Zane Gibbs each scored nine points to lead Sunrise Mountain.
Green Valley 77, Tech 33 — At Tech, Durrell McDonald scored a game-high 16 points as the Gators rolled the Roadrunners.
Devan Kohn and Ikaika Pladera each scored 12 points for Green Valley, which bolted to a 42-15 halftime lead.
Tyler Walker led Tech with 10 points.
Pahranagat Valley 53, Virgin Valley 51 — At Alamo, Tyler Higbee hit four 3-pointers on his way to 29 points, helping the Panthers hold off the Bulldogs.
Derek Hansen supplied 12 points and 12 rebounds for Pahranagat Valley, which collected 14 steals as a team.
Nolan Tanner had 13 points and Tyson Teerlink scored 12 for Virgin Valley, which trailed 11-6 after the first quarter.
Spring Mountain 46, Oasis Christian 37 — At Oasis Christian, Roemello Brandon pumped in 18 points, and the Golden Eagles used a 13-7 spurt in the third quarter to open up a 36-26 lead on their way to a win over the Bulldogs.
Tyrice Hall added 15 points, and Chris Munro had 10 points for Spring Mountain.
Christian Gonzalez led Oasis Christian with 15 points.
