ROUNDUP: Peterson, free-throw shooting help Longhorn boys hold off Crusaders

Jamal Peterson scored 22 points, and Legacy’s boys basketball team made 15 of 17 free throws Wednesday edge host Faith Lutheran, 66-65.
Zach Lane added 15 points for Legacy.
Brett Lubbe scored 22 points, and James Hammer tallied 20 for Faith Lutheran, which made only 8 of 20 free throws.
Centennial 78, Arbor View 53 — At Arbor View, Aaseem Dixon fired in 21 points, leading the visiting Bulldogs to a rout of the Aggies.
Justin Jones added 15 points for Centennial, which broken open the game with a 24-10 third-quarter run.
DeAndre Bright and Chase Ealy each had 11 points, and DeAndrea Johnson had 10 points and seven rebounds for Arbor View.
Palo Verde 70, Mojave 55 — At Mojave, Eris Winder scored 25 points, leading the Panthers to an easy victory over the Rattlers.
Nahjee Matlock added 12 points  for Palo Verde.
Demarge Boyd scored 12 points for Mojave.
Spring Valley 80, Bonanza 66 — At Bonanza, Sean Clancey had 24 points to help the Grizzlies top the Bengals.
DeShaun Nowlin added 17 points and Gary Payton scored 16 for Spring Valley, which led 25-12 after one quarter.
Teyshawn Campbell had 25 points and five assists to lead Bonanza. Matt Figgins added 14 points, six rebounds and three assists for the Bengals.
Clark 49, Pahrump Valley 41 — At Pahrump, DeAndre Henderson scored 16 points and Wayne Pittman added 15 to help lift the Chargers past the Trojans.
James Munger led Pahrump with 17 points.
Virgin Valley 66, Shadow Ridge 52 — At Mesquite, Cameron Jensen scored all 20 of his points in the second half as the Bulldogs beat the Mustangs.
Jensen hit three 3-pointers and scored 11 in the third quarter as Virgin Valley outraced Shadow Ridge, 27-20 to take a 48-38 lead.
Brandon Cohen added 14 points, and Austin Cook scored 12 for the Bulldogs.
David Everage led Shadow Ridge with 19 points, and Zach Ducksworth scored 12 for the Mustangs.
Moapa Valley 53, Pine View (Utah) 33 — At St. George, Utah, Josh Thompson scored 12 points, and Hayden Cooper tallied 11 points to help the Pirates past the Panthers.
Dakota Watters added nine points for Moapa Valley, which led by 20 at the half, scored two points in the third quarter, and exploded for 21 points in the fourth.
