ROUNDUP: Stevens’ late bucket slips Crusader boys past Aggies

Sam Stevens had 16 points, including the winning shot with 45 seconds to play Friday, as Faith Lutheran’s boys basketball team edged host Arbor View, 48-47.

D’Khari Hicks and D.J. Manning each scored 10 to help the Crusaders.

Justin Burks scored 17 points to lead Arbor View, which missed a potential game-winning shot at the buzzer.

Palo Verde 74, Legacy 68 — At Palo Verde, Michael Buchanan had 26 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Panthers past the Longhorns.

Nahjee Matlock added 15 points, four assists and three steals, and Eris Winder scored 11 for Palo Verde.

Cardon Harris had 11 points to pace Legacy, which outscored Palo Verde 28-11 in the fourth quarter.

Centennial 58, Cheyenne 42 — At Centennial, Evan Martin had 18 points and 12 rebounds to help the Bulldogs top the Desert Shields.

Neiman Lee added 15 points, and teammate Cody Wilkes drained three 3-pointers off the bench en route to 11 points for Centennial, which pulled away from a 10-10 tie with a 19-5 burst in the second quarter.

Khalid Banks scored 14 and Bryan Laws 11 for Cheyenne.

Shadow Ridge 51, Mojave 39 — At Shadow Ridge, David Everage had 14 points and 12 rebounds as the Mustangs downed the Rattlers.

Malcolm Davis contributed 11 points, and Nick Flowers added 10 points for Shadow Ridge, which led 23-15 at the half.

Jaishan Dean led Mojave with 12 points.

Spring Valley 72, Western 59 — At Western, Rahfe’l King had 16 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter to help rally the Grizzlies past the Warriors.

Ryan Vozzola had 22 points, and Sean Clancey added 18 points for Spring Valley.

Western’s Samuel Jamerson had 19 points, Nate Johnson added 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Travis Dunn supplied 13 points for the Warriors.

Desert Oasis 39, Pahrump Valley 36 — At Pahrump, Anthony Lianzo had 26 points, including a pair of key 3-pointers in the final 90 seconds, as the Diamondbacks edged the Trojans.

Bret Kunzi had 12 points, and Dalton Beighley scored 11 for Pahrump.

Durango 83, Bonanza 57 — At Bonanza, Joe Tuss had 22 points to lead the Trailblazers past the Bengals.

Tre’Vonn Wells added 17 points, and Tyler Watts scored 15 for Durango, which led 46-29 at halftime.

Carter Olsen scored 11 points for Bonanza.

Sierra Vista 57, Basic 41 — At Basic, Sean Williams scored 15 points, and the Mountain Lions outscored the Wolves 31-15 in the second half on their way to a road win.

Nino Flores added 10 points, and Wesley Rouse supplied nine points for Sierra Vista.

Devonte Boyd had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Basic, which got seven points and 10 rebounds from Isaiah Villaros.

Silverado 68, Boulder City 60 — At Silverado, Justin Johnson scored 26 points and teammate Ruben Jackson supplied 20 points, five rebounds, and five steals as the Skyhawks outlasted the Eagles.

Kaleb Bailey scored a game-high 30 points for Boulder City, which got 13 points from Nate Hafen.

Virgin Valley 61, Del Sol 55 — At Mesquite, Dee Bowler had 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Bulldogs past the Dragons.

Tyson Teerlink had 17 points, and Nolan Tanner added 16 points for Virgin Valley.

Del Sol’s Max Prescott scored 22 points, and Kyle Collins added 10 points for the Dragons.

The Meadows 54, Lincoln County 50 — At Panaca, Max Newman scored 15 of his team-high 25 points in the third quarter to help the Mustangs rally past the Lynx.

Garrett Gosse added 14 points for The Meadows, which took over with an 18-7 third-quarter surge and hung on with free throws in the final seconds.

Ryan Rippetoe led Lincoln County with 22 points.

Agassi Prep 98, Needles 74 — At Agassi Prep, Kalinn Jackson had 30 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to lead the Stars past the Mustangs.

DeCari Lide supplied 21 points and four assists, and Anson Williams scored 15 for Agassi Prep.

David Bailey scored 12, and Darryl Green had 11 points and seven rebounds for the Stars, who got nine steals from Terrell Kemp.

Aaron Burns paced Needles with 21 points, and Michael Hills added 11 points for the Mustangs.

Mountain View 47, Laughlin 34 — At Laughlin, Joseph Gueverra and Matt Larson each scored 11 points to help lift the Saints past the Cougars.

Trevor Van Kempen scored 10 points to help Mountain View, which pulled away in the third quarter.

Colton Hill scored 15 points to lead Laughlin.

Adelson School 50, Tonopah 36 — At Adelson School, Rob Blackwell scored 15 points to lead the Lions past the Muckers.

Mendy Berrebi had 13 points and Ross Behrin scored nine for Adelson, which used a 15-3 run in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Spencer Littlefield paced Tonopah with 11 points.

Sandy Valley 60, Beatty 56 — At Sandy Valley, Brandon Hughes had 18 points to help the Sidewinders edge the Hornets.

Ryan Hagan added 13 points, and Daniel Soto scored 12 for Sandy Valley.

Carlos Gomez paced Beatty with 14 points.
