Shepard, Pilots top Stoneridge again
Winston Shepard had 21 points, seven rebounds and eight assists on Sunday to help Findlay Prep to a 103-80 home win over Stoneridge Prep (Calif.).
Anthony Bennett added 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Pilots (3-0), who also defeated Stoneridge 92-79 on Friday.
Findlay's Amedeo Della Vale had 19 points and seven rebounds and was 4-for-6 on 3-pointers. Christian Wood was 4-for-5 on 3-pointers and had 18 points for the Pilots, who got 10 rebounds and six blocked shots from 7-footer Matt Willms. Dominic Artis had 10 points, nine assists and five steals for Findlay.
Marko Gujanicic paced Stoneridge with 25 points.
