ROUNDUP: Centennial cruises past Mullen in Tournament of Champions
Alexis Byrd scored 26 points Monday to lead Centennial’s girls basketball team to an 81-44 win over Mullen (Colo.) in the Tournament of Champions in Phoenix.
Shannon Brown added 19 points for Centennial, which sprinted to a 52-26 halftime lead. Courtney Hayes had 16 points and nine assists for the Bulldogs.
Highlands Ranch (Colo.) 71, Bishop Gorman 60 — At Phoenix, Highlands Ranch took a 37-25 halftime lead and cruised past Gorman in the Tournament of Champions.
Aaryn Ellenberg led the Gaels with 24 points.
