ROUNDUP: Phillips scores 20 as Tech girls top Silverado

Mesha Phillips scored 20 points Wednesday to help Tech’s girls basketball team to a 54-41 victory over visiting Silverado.

Adriana Heredia added 14 points, and Gabriela Guzman supplied 10 points for the Roadrunners.

Natalie Lainhart and Diamondique Wright each had 11 points for Silverado, and Brittany Loguidice contributed nine points.

Foothill 49, Coronado 42 — At Coronado, Julie Harless had 18 points, and the Falcons hit nine 3-pointers en route to a victory over the Cougars.

Samantha Gruettner added 10 points for Foothill, which led 18-10 at the half.

Nicole Ruffino led Coronado with 16 points, and Sofie Cruz scored 11 for the Cougars.

Mojave 48, Faith Lutheran 42 — At Faith Lutheran, Jazzmine Robinson scored 19 points to help the Rattlers hold off the Crusaders.

Alexandria Thiel added 14 points for Mojave, which led 11-3 after one quarter.

Kelsey McCourt had 12 points and Taylor Hammer 10 for Faith Lutheran.

Green Valley 68, Basic 50 — At Green Valley, Mackenzie Butler had 25 points, seven assists and four steals as the Gators downed the Wolves.

Angelica Mack added 15 points and 11 rebounds for Green Valley.

Kailai Brantner paced Basic with 22 points, and teammate Shanice Valentine scored 16.

Clark 42, Bonanza 31 — At Clark, Jacqueline Garcia had 13 points to help the Chargers defeat the Bengals.

Kiara Nesmith added 12 points for Clark, which outscored Bonanza, 24-14 in the middle quarters.

Tranee Jenkins and Denetrius Martin each had 12 points for the Bengals.

Sierra Vista 77, Spring Valley 55 — At Spring Valley, Jeanette Jackson scored 25 points for the Mountain Lions, who used a 21-5 first quarter to pull away from the Grizzlies.

Jasmine Suarez had 16 points, and Marley Wakeen scored nine for Sierra Vista.

Jessica Stevens paced Spring Valley with 22 points. Jana Espiritu and De’Tiese Moore each added nine points for the Grizzlies.

Cheyenne 54, Arbor View 41 — At Arbor View, Lajuana Brown scored 15 points and Britnee Shaw 13 as the Desert Shields held off the Aggies.

Taylor Bosley added 10 points for Cheyenne, which jumped to a 28-13 lead at halftime.

Dana Lewis and Jena Valenzuela had 14 points apiece to lead Arbor View.

Bishop Gorman 48, Pahrump Valley 15 — At Gorman, Amber Lane scored 13 points, and the Gaels limited the Trojans to five or fewer points in every quarter.

April Rivers added 12 points for Gorman.

Alyson Kunzi led Pahrump with eight points.

Palo Verde 64, Shadow Ridge 20 — At Palo Verde, Jasmin Kiley scored 17 points to lead the Panthers in a rout of the Mustangs.

Nicole Ameli had 12 points and Lily Tapusoa 11 for Palo Verde, which led 50-8 at halftime.

Vianne Perez led Shadow Ridge with six points.

Centennial 101, Cimarron-Memorial 26 — At Centennial, Breanna Workman scored 21 points as the Bulldogs routed the Spartans.

Shelby Valentine, Tamera Williams and Denajha Kie each had 16 points, and Ashley Klemz scored 14 for Centennial.

Amber Butler led Cimarron with six points.

Liberty 57, Del Sol 22 — At Del Sol, Jade Washington scored 14 points to help the Patriots top the Dragons.

Amanda Delgado added 12 points and Alena Evans 10 for Liberty, which led 34-9 at the break.

Desiree Orozco led Del Sol with seven points.
