Carl Crayon had a team-high 12 points and made a handful of key plays in the final 2:26 as host Eldorado outlasted Canyon Springs 46-42 on Wednesday in a Division I Sunrise Region quarterfinal.
Aleza Bell scored 13 of her 19 points in the second half, and D’Licya Feaster scored all 10 of her points in the second as Canyon Springs climbed out of a deep hole to down visiting Rancho 39-35 in a Sunrise Region quarterfinal.
Rae Burrell had 15 points and 11 rebounds Tuesday as Foothill’s girls basketball team secured the Southeast League title with a 57-36 win over visiting Coronado.
Kennedy Koehler scored 18 points, including a rebound basket in the final seconds of overtime to lift Coronado’s boys basketball team to a 54-52 road win over Eldorado on Wednesday.
Trinity Betoney scored 20 points Wednesday to help Foothill’s girls basketball team rally for a 54-44 win at Green Valley in a battle for first place in the Southeast League.
Kyle Thaxton led a balanced attack with 13 points, and host Liberty’s boys basketball team held on for a 70-69 win over Canyon Springs on Monday.
Deja Siaki scored 19 points Monday to help Silverado’s girls basketball team hold on for a 54-51 win over visiting Las Vegas.
Rae Burrell had 21 points Thursday to lead Foothill’s girls basketball team to a 44-38 win at Rancho.
Marquise Rayborn scored 18 points Thursday, and Las Vegas’ boys basketball team routed Liberty 67-50 to move into a tie for second place in the Northeast League.
Jesse Vogel had 17 points, and Jarrod Burks tallied 16 points as Arbor View’s boys basketball team topped host Bonanza 69-63 on Wednesday.
Alexia Thrower scored all of her 28 points in the final three quarters Wednesday to help Canyon Springs’ girls basketball team rally for a 62-55 win at Silverado.
Jesse Vogel scored 20 points, and Arbor View’s boys basketball team edged visiting Cimarron-Memorial 63-61 on Thursday.
Shelby Clark’s layup with three minutes to play Thursday sparked an 8-0 run and helped Green Valley’s girls basketball team to a 56-49 win over visiting Rancho in a Division I Southeast League game.
