Key losses: RB Michael Barnson; LB Wayne May; OT Jeffery Prince; C Tim Wooters

Outlook: The Spartans are not the power they once were, but made the playoffs again last season after missing for three consecutive years.

Parcells will need to find a replacement for Barnson, who provided much of the offense last season, rushing for 1,400 yards and 10 TDs.

“This 2014 team can be as good as it decides to be,” Parcells said. “We have talent, depth and a good mix of experience and youth.

“The level of success we achieve will be determined by consistent decision-making and playing for the man next to you rather than playing only for yourself.”
