Bulldogs cruise as Turley tosses four TDs

Centennial's Austin Turley threw four touchdown passes, and Coby Newton rushed for 175 yards on 16 carries to lead the second-ranked Bulldogs (3-0) to a 60-19 over host Shadow Ridge (0-4) on Friday.

Bakari Smith rushed for 158 yards and scored the first of his two touchdowns on a 10-yard run to give Shadow Ridge the early lead.

But Centennial answered, scoring 27 straight points behind two touchdown passes from Turley to Deontae Gilkey, a 9-yard TD run by Lantz Worthington and a 70-yard fumble return for a score by Haikeem Arnold.
