Doxtator’s two TD passes not enough for Falcons

Drew Doxtator threw two touchdowns, but visiting Foothill couldn’t convert on fourth-and-goal midway through the fourth quarter and fell to Desert Hills (Utah) 20-16 on Friday at St. George, Utah.

Doxtator connected with Ian Ellis in the first quarter to tie the score at 7 and found David Persi in the third quarter as the Falcons (0-1) got within 20-14.

The talented senior, who is being recruited by several Division I schools, also threw a third-quarter interception that was returned by the Thunder (2-0) for a touchdown.
