Estes helps Trojans stun Cheyenne

Deon Estes had 48 yards rushing, 57 yards receiving and three total touchdowns Thursday to help host Pahrump Valley’s football team to a 20-12 win over Cheyenne.

Estes scored on a 36-yard TD run and on passes of 20 and 30 yards. T.J. Milk was 4 of 12 for 89 yards and two TDs for the Trojans (3-3, 2-2 Sunset League), and teammate Keenan Harris added 39 yards on the ground and 29 receiving yards.

The Trojans led 7-6 at halftime, and extended their lead to 20-6 in the fourth before the Desert Shields (2-4, 2-2) tacked on a late score.
