Fourth-quarter comeback gives Rattlers win over Jaguars

Mojave (1-1) scored 22 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to overcome a 18-7 deficit and beat visiting Desert Pines (0-2) 29-18 on Friday.

Quarterback Zack Avare passed for 125 yards, including a 65-yard strike to Ty Flanagan with 6:52 remaining. Avare also scored on a 2-yard keeper to put the game away.

Desert Pines’ Iquan Corsey scored on runs of 7 and 2 yards in the first quarter. In the fourth quarter, Malik Davis returned a field-goal attempt by Mojave 100 yards for Desert Pines.
