Ryan Beaulieu scores three times on five touches as Panthers roll

Palo Verde's Ryan Beaulieu touched the ball only five times but scored three touchdowns for the No. 5-ranked Panthers (5-3, 3-0 Northwest) as they rolled over to a 62-7 home win over Sierra Vista (1-6, 0-3) on Friday.

Beaulieu scored on a 60-yard run, caught a 40-yard touchdown pass and returned a punt 80 yards for another score. He finished with 218 total yards.

Lee Griggs led Palo Verde in the first half with 107 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. Corey Clark rushed for 54 yards and a score in the second half.

Deyon McKinney rushed for 33 yards and threw for 48 yards and a touchdown for Sierra Vista, but he was intercepted three times. Keyyon Metoyer-Bush picked off two of those passes and returned one 28 yards for a Panther score.
