ROUNDUP: Becker’s 39 leads Crusaders to Northwest win
Brianna Becker shot a 3-over-par 39 at Aliante on Wednesday to help Faith Lutheran’s girls golf team to a win in a Northwest League match.
The Crusaders’ team total of 176 was two strokes better than Arbor View. Palo Verde took third at 188.
Arbor View’s Kiley Ballew was the medalist with a 1-over 37.
Pitaksarp earns medalist honors in Northeast match
At Los Prados, Eldorado’s Angie Pitaksarp took medalist honors with a 6-over-par 76 in a Northeast League match.
Chaparral was the only school to post a team score, winning the meet with a total of 474.
Canyon Springs’ Taylor Candley carded a 79, and Valley’s Samantha Chambers shot 90.
