BOYS SOCCER: Crusaders post two shutouts, claim Show Low Invitational crown

Tristan Tomburo had a goal and two assists in the title match Saturday to help Faith Lutheran’s boys soccer team capture the Show Low Invitational with a 4-0 win over host Show Low (Ariz.).

Sean Kay, Michael Manfredi and Randal Colquitt also scored, and Harut Khachoyan added two assists for the Crusaders, who led 2-0 at the half.

Phil Starcher made one save en route to the shutout.

Faith Lutheran 13, St. Johns (Ariz.) 0 — In the semifinals, Khachoyan had three goals, and Nick Frost scored twice as the Crusaders routed the Redskins.

Logan Buckley had a goal and an assist, and Conner Frame, Chase Pavlov, Chase Carey, Joshua Harmonay, Nick Gaugert, Tomburo and Starcher also scored.

Carter Bishop made two saves to record the shutout.
