GIRLS SOCCER: Young, Panthers rally to beat Bulldogs

Elissa Young scored two goals Monday to help Palo Verde’s girls soccer team rally from a 2-1 halftime deficit to edge host Centennial, 3-2.

Tessa Dwyer also scored for the Panthers.

McKenna Stratton had two goals for the Bulldogs.

Bonanza 3, Cimarron-Memorial 3 — At Cimarron, Adri Martinez’s goal with eight minutes left allowed the Bengals to tie the Spartans.

Hannah Webster scored twice for Bonanza.

Natasha Martin had two goals, and Taylor Hemphill also scored for Cimarron.

Liberty 1, Canyon Springs 0 — At Liberty, Giovanna Maisano scored midway through the second half to lift the Patriots over the Pioneers.

Rebecca Rodriguez earned the shutout for Liberty.

Las Vegas 4, Valley 2 — At Valley, Ashlee Jordan scored four goals to power the Wildcats to victory over the Vikings.

Alica Nunez had two assists for Las Vegas.

Caymbrea Neal and Paige Tarr scored for Valley.

Clark 6, Spring Valley 3 — At Clark, Darian Gambetta had three goals and an assist to help the Chargers top the Grizzlies.

Jackie Gonzalez added two goals and an assist, and Emily Russle had a goal and an assist for Clark, which scored four second-half goals.

Dona Acirto added two assists for the Chargers.

Jozee DeCunzo, Samantha Meyers and Janice Martinez-Ortiz each scored once for Spring Valley.

Arbor View 7, Desert Oasis 0 — At Desert Oasis, Vanessa Lourenco had three goals and an assist as the Aggies defeated the Diamondbacks.

Katelyn Laurente, Breanna Larkin, Allyssa Larkin and Melanie Ara each added a goal, and Haley Vicente and Savannah Webster had two assists apiece for Arbor View.

Haylee Niemann made five saves to earn the shutout.

Sierra Vista 9, Mojave 0 — At Sierra Vista, Sophia Omidiji had four goals and one assist as the Mountain Lions routed the Rattlers.

Jasmine Morice had a goal and three assists, and Anna Montemalo,Alexia Cabral, Danielle Johnson and Brittney Hartog also scored for the Mountain Lions.

Jayla Olson recorded the shutout.
