Winning pitcher Brooke Detommaso went 3-for-4 with a double and six RBIs on Friday to help Bonanza’s softball team to a 19-7, six-inning victory at Las Vegas High.
Hayley Coreas went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs on Tuesday to help host Bishop Gorman’s softball team defeat Green Valley, 12-8.
Arbor View’s Hazen Newman carded a 3-under-par 69 at Reflection Bay on Tuesday to win the Southern Nevada Invitational boys golf tournament.
Liberty sophomore Jackson Parrish shot a 3-under-par 68 at SouthShore Country Club on Monday to grab the lead at the midway point of the Southern Nevada Invitational.
Jake Riding tossed a five-inning no-hitter Tuesday to lead Pahrump Valley’s baseball team to an 11-0 win over Legacy in the Blazer Spring Bash at Shadow Ridge.
Cayden Duncan threw a three-hitter and struck out seven Monday as Bonanza’s baseball team completed a perfect day in the Blazer Spring Bash with a 3-1 win over visiting Sylmar (California).
Kelsey Howryla’s single to right field with one out in the top of the seventh inning plated Maggie Whipple with the go-ahead run as Faith Lutheran’s softball team rallied for a 12-10 win at Cimarron-Memorial on Tuesday.
Steven Giatti was 3-for-4 with two doubles, three runs and four RBIs on Tuesday as Arbor View’s baseball team handed host Palo Verde its second loss in as many days, 12-8.

Oscar Gonzalez had 11 kills to help Basic’s boys volleyball team to a 27-25, 25-18, 19-25, 15-25, 15-8 home win over Bishop Gorman on Wednesday.
