Julian Herrera and Jose Arreola scored in the first half Tuesday, and Sunrise Mountain’s boys soccer team held on for a 2-1 road win over Western to take over sole possession of first place in the Sunset League.
Jadyn Nogues had a goal and an assist Tuesday as Palo Verde’s girls soccer team held off visiting Faith Lutheran, 2-1.
Bryanna Neagle had 11 kills and six blocks Monday to lead Faith Lutheran’s girls volleyball team past Arbor View on the road, 21-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-19.
The doubles teams of Samantha Milanovich and Caitlyn Covington, and Taylor Dixon and Caroline Hawley each finished 3-0 on Friday as Shadow Ridge’s girls tennis team defeated visiting Legacy, 11-7.
Liberty’s Kevin Blomquist went 3-0 in singles Friday to lead the Patriots’ boys tennis team to a 10-8 win at Basic.
Margie Farnsworth scored on an assist from Victoria Bravo in the 75th minute to give Silverado’s girls soccer team a 2-1 road win over Sierra Vista on Tuesday.

Treven Clizbe had 27 kills Monday to lead the Arbor View boys volleyball team to a 25-15, 19-25, 24-26, 27-25, 15-13 victory over visiting Shadow Ridge.
