The girls stole the show at the Blaine Thompson-Las Vegas Track Classic on Saturday at Desert Oasis.
Braxton Bruschke allowed three hits and struck out 13 in 6⅔ innings on Friday to lift Spring Valley’s baseball team to a 3-1 win at Durango.
Ashley Moore won two individual events and finished second in another to help Centennial’s girls track team capture first place in the Silver State Invitational at Coronado on Friday.
Emily Wickens won one event and was second in another on Wednesday to lead Coronado’s girls track team to victory in a rain-shortened home meet.
