Cameron Burton had 27 points and 11 assists as Valley’s boys basketball team downed visiting Canyon Springs 79-72 on Thursday.
Justice Ethridge scored 26 points Thursday as Centennial’s girls basketball team rolled to an 88-62 home victory over Arbor View.
Carly Taylor had 18 kills and 19 digs Tuesday to lead Durango’s girls volleyball team to a 22-25, 25-15, 26-24, 25-13 victory over host Spring Valley.
The doubles teams of Devin Diesko and Catherine Arizmendez, and Sara Long and Keara Lawson both went 2-1 on Tuesday, and Arbor View’s girls tennis team edged host Cimarron-Memorial, 10-9.
Julia Carlson had 13 kills Monday night to help Green Valley’s girls volleyball team rally for a 19-25, 17-25, 25-21, 25-13, 15-4 victory at Las Vegas High.
Ashley Smith had 21 kills and 15 digs on Thursday as Shadow Ridge’s girls volleyball team handed host Coronado its first loss of the season, 13-25, 25-19, 25-19, 20-25, 15-9.
Robbie Galvan went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBIs on Tuesday, and Shadow Ridge’s baseball team used a six-run first inning on its way to an 11-8 victory over host Durango.
Orestes Marquetti doubled home George Carmona with two outs in the bottom of the seventh to give Cheyenne’s baseball team a 5-4 win over visiting Valley on Tuesday.
