WINNEMUCCA — Green Valley’s quest to win a fourth straight state wrestling title got off to a solid start on the first day of the Division I tournament Friday.
Assana King had 20 points and seven rebounds Friday to help Shadow Ridge rally for a 56-53 home win over Silverado.
Hannah Goddard had 16 kills, and Sarah Goddard added 14 kills Thursday to help Arbor View’s girls volleyball team win its first league title with a 25-22, 25-17, 25-14 win over visiting Bonanza in a battle of the top two teams in the Northwest League.
