Here are the 2018 baseball honors, as selected by the coaches.
Kaitlin Fazendin had a home run and a double Thursday as Durango’s softball team scored three in the seventh inning to stun host Desert Oasis, 11-9.
Branson Tressler was 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs and an RBI as Shadow Ridge’s baseball team edged host Centennial 4-3 on Wednesday.
Two Moapa Valley girls track athletes won two events Wednesday as the host Pirates rolled to victory in a four-team meet.
Allen Tyes won one individual event, ran a leg on a winning relay team and finished second in another event Wednesday to help host Sierra Vista’s boys track team win a three-team meet against Durango and Calvary Chapel.

C’Aree Stevenson had 20 points and Legacy’s girls basketball team rallied for a 67-62 home win over Palo Verde on Tuesday.
Kylie Gibson had 17 kills, four aces and two blocks to help Bishop Gorman’s girls volleyball team win the Class 4A Sunset League with a 19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 home win over Durango on Friday night.
Arbor View’s Keith Williams led at the front of a pack of five runners early. Eventually, he managed to hold off PahrumpValley’s Bryce Odegard and Centennial’s Alexander Miller in the final quarter mile, putting in a good finishing kick to cross the line in 16 minutes and 13 seconds.
Garrett Lucas struck out six in 5⅔ innings on Thursday to lead Pahrump Valley’s baseball team to a 5-2 home win over Mojave.
Giovanna Bojorquez went 4-for-5 with three runs and three RBIs to help Cheyenne’s softball team to an 11-9 win at Mojave on Tuesday.
