Demitri Diamant and Carson Wells scored the go-ahead runs on Santino Panaro’s fielder’s choice in the top of the seventh inning Monday as Bishop Gorman’s baseball team edged Juan Diego (Utah), 3-1 in the All-Catholic Classic at Gorman.

Ashley Moore won two individual events and finished second in another to help Centennial’s girls track team capture first place in the Silver State Invitational at Coronado on Friday.
Jaid Raval’s two-run home run with no outs in the top of the sixth inning broke an 8-8 tie and lifted Desert Oasis’ softball team to a 10-8 win at Bishop Gorman on Thursday.
