Cody Prince won the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.06 seconds and a margin of victory of .32 seconds to lead the Shadow Ridge boys swimming team to a 149-145 victory over Centennial at Pavilion on Saturday.
Maddy Pewtress won two individual events and swam on two winning relay teams Saturday at Multi-Generational to lead Eldorado’s girls swimming team to a 118-62 win over Chaparral.
Kennedy Brace finished first in two individual events and ran on the winning 800- and 1,600-meter relay teams Saturday to lead host Centennial’s girls track team to victory in the the Sunset FAST Classic freshman and sophomore meet.
Arbor View’s Cameron Gambini shot a 6-under-par 66 at Paiute on Wednesday to earn medalist honors in a Northwest League match.
Makena Martin hit a walk-off two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday to complete Palo Verde’s rally and help the Panthers’ softball team beat visiting Faith Lutheran, 5-4.
Chaison Miklich belted a pair of home runs to help Desert Oasis’ baseball team to a 14-3 road victory over Bishop Gorman in six innings on Tuesday evening.
