Alexis Gourrier won three individual events Saturday to lead Centennial’s girls track and field team to the championship at the Skyhawk Invitational at Silverado.
Tristan Arruti, Garrett Jones and Tama Tuitama each won two individual events Saturday to help Legacy’s boys swimming team edge Bishop Gorman, 148-146 at Municipal.
Maddie Cartmill won two individual events Saturday to help Centennial’s girls swimming team to a 143-136 win over Desert Oasis at Municipal.
Braulio Santiaguin”s bases-loaded chopper in the bottom of the seventh inning plated Joey Walls with the winning run as the Rancho baseball team nipped visiting Centennial 7-6 in the Lions Kick-Off Tournament on Friday.
