Donovan Gladney’s infield single plated Tanner Albright with the winning run in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday to lift Rancho’s baseball team to a 4-3 win at Spring Valley.

Roundup: Kaitlyn Suarez’s sac fly lifts Rancho to Colorado River title

Kaitlyn Suarez’s sacrifice fly to center field with no outs in the bottom of the seventh inning plated Anaiya Irick with the winning run as Rancho edged Silverado, 8-7 in the championship game of the Colorado River Invitational in Needles, California.

Bengal: Darkness halts Crusaders’ rally against Silverado

The Crusaders scored five runs in the top of the seventh inning to take the lead, but the game was called because of darkness with two outs in the bottom of the seventh. By rule, the game reverts back to the last completed inning, giving the host Skyhawks a 7-4 victory in the Bengal Kickoff Tournament.
